"Nothing stands the pressure of the Clash City Rockers."

A timeline of cricket hijinks

Learning to enjoy cricket

Despite growing up in a family that loved the game, I never caught on to the same level of passion they had for cricket. It wasn't until a semi-pro player named Romesh came up to our work crew to suggest doing an annual cricket tournament where we face off against each other. Who could've guessed that this suggestion would be the beginning of a fun rivalry and opportunities for creative endeavors? Not me.

Switching paths to rise in punk rock stardom

Side quests alongside the game

Suffice it to say, we are an artistic lot. It's not enough to just design a logo and a jersey. We always had to do more. In 2025, we did a light show photoshoot and made our own trading cards. That was a cool idea, but we still wanted more. And that brings us to the beauty of the Clash City Rockers Official Photo Book.

Deciding on a new name (again)

In 2024, we stole the name of an All Elite Wrestling tag team named the Bang Bang Gang. In 2025, we went rogue to become the Emerald Outlaws. In 2026, we needed a rebrand for our team and decided it was time to embrace the punk rock aesthetics of 1970s London, England.

Landing on the Clash City Rockers

Below you'll see how we turned an old song cover into our team's identity.

Repurposing 2025's photos

We tend to get a little crazy

Creating a new look

A lovely recreation

Gathering everyone's numbers, icons, and names

Everyone was able to pick their own custom icons for their jerseys. Furthermore, the captains were given a gold variant.

Let the photoshoots commence

Everyone's a model

In order to perform well in a cricket game, you gotta look good. Therefore, we gathered our entire team to participate in photoshoots to then make a fun photo book featuring all of our unique personalities. Please see below for just a few shots from our full photoshoot. Our photography team of Julie Huynh, Odin Sayson, & Tony Guerrero did a great job.

Now make it look punk rock

I was solely responsible for photo editing so I decided to go with a black-and-white look, but with a color pop for the logo.

Putting together a photo book

Creating spread designs

It was really fun to use the quirks of every teammate to my advantage to make these spread designs that showcase their photos and tell a story about them as well.

Designing the front & back cover

The front cover is shown on the right and the back cover is shown on the left. The front cover displays the logo while the back cover mimics the look of covering a guitar case with several stickers of your favorite bands.
